Are these bikes fully electric or do they also use petrol?
All CMC bikes and trikes are 100% electric. They run only on batteries and do not require any petrol or oil to operate. You simply charge them at home like a mobile phone and ride—no need for fuel stations.
How far can I travel on a single charge?
Depending on the model, CMC electric bikes can go from 70 KM to 130 KM on a single full charge. For example:
- T10: Up to 70 KM
- T20 / PRO: Up to 80–100 KM
- Promax: Up to 130 KM
- CMC Bull (3-wheeler): 50–60 KM
How long does it take to fully charge the bike?
Charging time is between 6 to 8 hours, depending on the model. You can easily charge it overnight using a regular home socket—no special setup is needed
How much does it cost to charge and run?
It’s extremely budget-friendly. On average, a full battery charge costs Rs. 60–80, and you can travel up to 130 KM on that. That means it costs just 1 rupee per KM—much cheaper than petrol bikes.
Do I need a driving license and registration?
Yes, just like regular bikes, most CMC models require registration and a valid driving license. You’ll need to visit your local Excise Department for registration.
Is it safe to ride in the rain or water?
Yes, all CMC bikes are weather-resistant. They are safe to ride during light rain and wet conditions, but avoid riding in deep water or flooding to protect the electrical system.
What happens if the battery stops working?
CMC provides a 12-month warranty on the battery. If it fails within that period, you can get it repaired or replaced at any of our authorized service centers. After the warranty, replacement batteries are available at a reasonable cost.
Do the bikes need regular maintenance like petrol bikes?
Not at all. CMC bikes are low-maintenance. No engine oil, no spark plugs, no tuning needed. Just charge it, check tyre pressure, and clean it regularly. Brake pads and tyres may need replacement over time, like any vehicle.
